Spy mode :

The helmet has different forms for each mode. In this mode , Kyou-I can either be a Gundam or dons the Zaku mask to be…. Uh a Zaku. His main weapon is the spear. Spearhead can be unattached to become a Sai(dagger). In this mode he wears the shield and shoulder armor on his shoulders.

Gundam mode

In this mode , he wears the chest armor , helmet puts on the “V-fins” , carries the backpack with his 2 axes. Shield on hand. Doesn’t wear any shoulder armor. The axe can be either stored on the backpack when not in use. Axes can also become flaming swords. When attached to the backpack the axes can become flamethrowers.

Weapons and armor

Weapons and armor can also merge to form some sort of small dragon.

Fantastic mode kit! I really like flame effect parts. The Zaku mask is a bonus! Very gimmicky and looks mighty awesome. Of course you must get this kit! =)

BB Senshi Sangokuden Gaiden Juniku Gundam Review

Bird cannon can be mounted on a stand(with wings) or hand held(stand joins with backpack). The sword is an interesting one! It’s a big sword with a smaller sword under its blade! LOL.

Not a very colorful fella , mostly gold white and russet(a kind of red , I think)

Very easy to paint if you’re looking for box art accurate! Only need gold silver, black(for the feet only) , grey(hands only) and a little bit of green for the bird cannon’s eyes.

This kit isn’t too bad , has nice weapons and it is pretty cute looking. LOL still.. its kinda small even for a Sangokuden Gaiden kit. Not recommended for people who are particular about articulation.

BB senshi sangokuden Taishiji Dom review

Another kit with shit load of gimmicks! Both his Zaku face and Dom face forms the head. Helmet also 2 faces. Crab companion is made up of extended armor for both Dom and Zaku modes. Crab claws can open and close. The 2 clubs and axe have two alternate forms. Crab & Taishiji can merge to form some… I don’t know, fugly crab thingy.

He’s got a nice mix of purple, black and red. Badass looking. Probably one of my favorite color schemes.

If you’re following the pictures on the box , painting him is rather easy , only requires red , sliver , gold and black. The skirt armor took a bit of effort to get it painted, other then that, the other parts are easy.

A must get kit. There are some tiny flaws though, like the back of the model kit where you can see the face of the Zaku. The merged form is really flimsy, it doesn’t hold on together that well. But overall it’s a nice kit, the weapons itself already have a high playability with lots of modes. I also like how the Zaku and Dom look so different although they are the same model!

He molded in only 4 colors! Red , white , black and yellow. But after all the painting he is a piece of art , really awesome looking.

Painting is…. HELL! Lol. Because all the different parts are molded in one color , a lot of painting is required for it to be box art accurate(or even look good).

I have different opinions about recommending this kit.

Recommended :
For people who like a challenge in painting.
For people who like kits with many accessories.
For hardcore BB collectors who don’t give a shit about colors.

Not recommended :
For people who hates painting and unpainted kits.
For people finding kits in scale with Sangokuden kits(I think Sengokuden kits will come in different sizes).

Overall , I like this kit. The results of painting such a hellish model results in 200% satisfaction at the end. Not forgetting the crazy amount of accessories he comes with! He is like a walking tank , armored back and front! LOL
